3:01 AM (LAX)

One hour of sleep & I feel refreshed. Sleeping on the floor near the Virgin America check-in booth. Not often you see LAX a vacant void. I'm shivering. Should've brought a blanket. I'm quickly learning all the features on my new phone out of sheer boredom. A few people invaded my space and felt the need to sleep near me. Ehh... Loud carts pass by every few minutes. Vacuums turn on and off. I've got to find a way to sleep.

Zzzzzzzzz "huh!" Oh.. Zzzzzzzzz

Winter in San Clemente

I'm laying out on the beach north of San Clemente pier enjoying the 78° winter weather. This may be my favorite city I've ever lived in to date. The center of SoCal's surf culture for the last 50 years...& it doesn't seem much has really changed. The retro postcards for sale outside of every boutique store on Avenida Del Mar look like they could've been taken yesterday. I think the locals know this hence why they've come to be so protective of this little surf town.

The Pacific Surfliner train hits its horn as it passes. Joggers running by on a damp dirt trail. Volleyball game coming down
to the wire next to the lifeguard station. A seemingly endless amount of beautiful people come in and out of my view. There
are about 10 or 11 surfers scattered in the ocean.
Glassy conditions but occasional swells around 5-6'.
Pelicans diving along with random dolphins basking in the sun. What more could you ever want...

Siberia
a song

From this point I'll lead.
This is the life I've chosen.
I will have to bear everything alone.
So I'll forget your taste & your pretty face.
It made my day and night possibly worth every fight.

So I will rise above.
Put aside my love & hold my face to the sky.
Sun would you dry these eyes?
So I can find my way to better days...
Stay long enough to make it through...

Tight rope in the air,
I’m hanging in the middle & I’m going nowhere.
No matter what I choose, I will most definitely lose.
Siberia’s cold & bare.
Alone, I will be there...
For a year or two, forgetting you!

With your grip so tight around my neck,
even if you never knew...you held me til I turned blue.
I’m in a place where I can barely hold my head.
I’d do anything for you but you left me...you let me go.

I wont sleep until my eyes sink deep into my head, they’re turning red.
I won’t blink until I make sure you’re outside of it, so I can live.

Tight rope in the air,
I’m hanging in the middle & I’m going nowhere.
No matter what I choose, I will most definitely lose.
Siberia’s cold & bare.
Alone, I will be there...
For a year or two, forgetting you!

I wont sleep until my eyes sink deep into my head, they’re turning red.
I won’t blink until I make sure you’re outside of it,
so I can live.

Don’t push me to deal with this any faster because I’m holding on to you.
No, don’t push me any harder because I’m holding on for you..

Kalennn Blackburn

I'll tell you where I want to go...
Away from all the angry...
The fire that the dragon blows...
Is starting to light me..."

Today's idea.

I thought of combining a spoon a fork and I knife into one utensil. Has this been done? What would you call it? There goes a million dollar idea...how about cutting me in on 1%? Fast food company's could save 66% and only provide one utensil. Hmm. I think I'm onto something big. Maybe I should sell the idea to quirky.com. Anyone have any success with that yet? So far all I've found is this...

Recycled.Creative

This blog is the first post of many to come. Recycled.Creative is my answer to what some people call originality...something I do not believe in.  The best innovators in my opinion to have lived have come to similar conclusions.

"Originality consists in trying to be like everybody else...and failing."

                                                                                                                         -Raymond Radiguet
"What is originality? Undetected plagiarism."
                                                                                  -Dean Inge

"True originality consists not in a new manner but in a new vision."

                                                                                                                        -Edith Wharton

"Originality is nothing but judicious plagiarism."
                                                                                    -Voltaire

"The most original of authors are not so because they advance what is new, but more because they know how to say something, as if it had never been said before."

                                                                                     -Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe.

So please partake in my blogs & let's open each others mind with thoughts on Music. Art. Life. & not so new Ideas. Share your views and let's debate, discuss and search for ways of reinventing the old with new thinking.
